Weddings with traditional and modern twists
A few weeks back the AM team did a wedding marquee for Judith and Rob which was really interesting for us due to the fact that they had not opted for a traditional banquet style affair. They had chosen a fresh colour scheme of white, shades of pink, lilac and purple. They had also chosen low seating, poseur tables, stools and low banquette seating which gave it a fantastic modern twist.
We were working again with the lovely team from Caper and Berry and when I asked Libby at C&B how the wedding was going she said “we’ve had a lovely evening with the couple. They went for something a little different; they had canapés and bowl food throughout the evening with a bar serving real ale! It was very individual and stylish!” we totally agreed with this.
We also had the privilege of doing a Sarah and Jame’s wedding near Alton where we saw some familiar faces as the Groom happened to be the best man at a wedding we had done a couple months before hand. The marquee was set in the beautiful grounds of a country house and incorporated the garden and its terrace with sweeping steps down into the main marquee. The couple had also chosen the modern twist of a clear gable end which gave guests a wonderful view of the woodland glade which was up lit with colour wash flood lights which come nightfall looked truly magical.
