Traditional Marquee May Wedding
We are always delighted when we have a client getting married at the fabulous Hill Place in Swanmore, it is such a spectacular location and the house and gardens offer the perfect location to decamp for the weekend and have the most memorable of wedding celebrations surrounded by your nearest and dearest.
This May wedding was the first of our bookings at the house for the coming season and what a fabulous opening to the summer it proved to be! The bride and groom opted for one of our Traditional marquees which always looks stunning in the garden with the beautiful Hill Place making a picture perfect backdrop.
The curtains of origami were lovingly crafted by the bride and groom in the run up to the wedding, one of which was suspended between the two central poles of the Traditional marquee and made for a really special focal point.
With any May wedding there is always apprehension as to what the great British weather will bring but our bride and groom were blessed with a beautiful day that enabled them to remove some of the sides of the Traditional marquee to make the most of the afternoon sunshine. We are so pleased to be able to share a few images from the day, perfectly captured by Dominique Bader, a London based photographer. Take a look at her blog where you will be able to see further images from this wonderful wedding.
