Brief
To Provide a marquee for a céilidh 7 miles up a Loch in Scotland with no road links!
Local Marquee hire companies in Glasgow and Inverness decline the work as too difficult.
Solution
Alresford Marquees are approched by end user and we accept the challenge. Vehicle loaded and checked crew set off for nearest port of Mallaig some 500 miles away. On arrival at Mallaig the vehicle is loaded onto chartered landing craft and taken to site. Marquee erected céilidh goes ahead without hitch and marquee removed returned to mainland via chartered landing craft and driven home to our base in Hampshire .
Round trip of over 1000 miles two sea crossings and 3 days in a remote Scottish island all completed without drama, but with a few drams!
